Roger E Stephens Architectural Services was established on the principles of providing a personal, reliable and dedicated service in resolving a wide range of domestic architectural requirements.
Descended from at least three generations of building craftsmen, Roger E Stephens holds an HNC in Construction and first set up an Architectural Services business in Birmingham in 1980, achieving Planning Permission and Building Regulations approvals for a variety of domestic projects across the West Midlands, whilst also providing freelance drawing services to several commercial architectural aluminium companies.
During the 1990's, Roger took a break from architecture to pursue other business interests, re-locating to Pembrokeshire in 2000. After working in a Pembrokeshire Architect's practice for eighteen months, Roger E Stephens Architectural Services was re-launched in Pembrokeshire in January 2004. The practice provides an essential service in liaising on your behalf with the Development Management Departments of both Pembrokeshire County Council and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
Wherever your location in Pembrokeshire, with our high success rate we usually can turn your ideas into a practical scheme for seeking all necessary Local Authority aprovals for your project, acting as your agent throughout the processes. However, if we see potential problems we will tell you, rather than ignoring them.
Recent projects include detailed drawings and submissions for Planning Permission, Listed Building Consent and Building Regulations Approval for:
Domestic Extensions of all sizes
Change of Use Applications to Residential / Holiday Use
Sustainable New Build Homes - including one of the first 'A-rated' eco homes in Pembrokeshire, filmed for 'Charlie Luxton's Building the Dream' shown on More4 TV.
